The member of the technical subcommittee of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC), Mohammed Al-Turjman, said they had finished preparations for the opening of the coastal road as per the task assigned by both delegations of the 5+5 JMC.
Al-Turjman told Libya Alahrar TV Monday that the subcommittee of the 5+5 JMC will send its report for further measures on the ground.
He indicated that the 5+5 JMC had been calling for the departure f foreign forces and mercenaries since the first meeting it held, adding that they had sent a letter to the Security Council calling for obliging the states that brought forces into Libya to pull them out.
“The 5+5 JMC will have the final say after it has received our report and another from the security arrangements committee of the Interior Ministry about security on the roads and checkpoints in the region.” Al-Turjman added.
