Khoury’s briefing before the Security Council set for June 19

The Acting Head of the UN Mission to Libya, Stephanie Khoury, will present her briefing on the latest developments in the country to the UN Security Council, on the 19th of June.

This comes during the Council’s bi-monthly briefing on the situation in Libya, and Khoury is expected to update the Security Council on the recent political, security and humanitarian developments in the country.

The Chairman of the Libya Sanctions Committee, Ambassador Yamazaki Kazuyuki, will also provide a briefing on the Committee’s activities during the past period.
