A truce restores calm to Zawiya after a bloody night

The city of Zawiya is witnessing calm after violent clashes broke out Tuesday evening, along the “Bir Al-Ghanam Bridge,” which led to damage to some properties in the area, according to Libya Al-Ahrar’s correspondent.

Meanwhile, the Red Crescent in the city issued an urgent appeal to stop the armed conflict immediately, demanding a truce to be able to evacuate families trapped in the area of ​​clashes.

Following the demand, it confirmed reaching a truce during which its teams were able to safely remove 40 families from the areas of clashes and evacuate civilians from the Basateen and Royal clinics located within the scope of the clashes.
