A Libyan citizen stranded in Gaza appeals to the Prime Minister to intervene

A Libyan citizen named Souad Abdel Nabi Al-Ahmar, who is stuck inside the Gaza Strip, has appealed to the Libyan Government to provide a safe passage for her and her children to leave Gaza which is besieged by the Israeli occupation.

Al-Ahmar stated in an urgent appeal through the Libyan embassy in Cairo that the situation in the Gaza Strip is terrible and she needs assistance regarding completing procedures to deport her to Egypt and then to Libya.

Al-Ahmar added that she lost all of her property as a result of the occupation’s bombing of civilian homes, and that she was displaced after being forced to move from the north to the south of the blockaded strip.

Al-Ahmar complained about the poor conditions in Gaza and that she and her children are left without shelter, as they lack the simplest means of life as a result of what the areas has been exposed to.

For over three months now the besieged Gaza Strip has been witnessing constant bombing by the Israeli occupation forces on civilians, leaving more than 22,000 killed and nearly 60,000 wounded, in addition to the complete destruction of infrastructure and the total collapse of health services.
