A new procedure for electronic visas for foreigners has been approved

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Adel Jumaa held a meeting on Thursday with the head of the Passports Department, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director of the Telecommunications Holding Company, and the President of the General Information Authority to discuss the roles assigned to all agencies through which foreigners can obtain their visas electronically.

The Minister emphasized that reciprocal treatment must be given to the state. The meeting was held in response to previous directives from Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, to address visa-granting issues and develop a practical mechanism that contributes to increasing numbers of foreign arrivals to Libya.

This move is expected to streamline visa processing for foreigners and improve the overall experience of traveling to Libya.
