After Iran, Türkiye is the next stop for Libya’s Foreign Minister

The Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Mangoush, is due in Türkiye to meet her Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on Wednesday after a day-long visit to Iran, a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry has reported.

The statement said the Turkish and Libyan Foreign Ministers would review bilateral relations, and recent developments in Libya and the region.

On Tuesday, Al-Mangoush met with her Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and discussed the return of the Iranian diplomatic presence in Libya and bolstering economic cooperation. The Libyan high-ranking delegation’s visit to Tehran was the first in 16 years.
