The so-called Libyan Cities and Tribes Movement has announced the end of shutdown of oil that has been ongoing since January 17 this year.
This action has been announced today after the humiliating defeats of Khalifa Haftar’s militias in Tripoli and Tarhouna as well as the siege on Sirte.
The movement said in a statement on Monday, pronounced by tribes elders loyal to Haftar, that they mandate Haftar to communicate with the international community to coordinate the reopen to save the revenues of the Libyan oil from being under the control of the “terrorist militias.”
