Deputy Head of the Presidential Council Musa Al-Koni discussed with Qatar’s Ambassador to Libya Khalid Al-Dosari the latest developments in Libya and working to develop cooperation relations between the two sides in many fields.
Al-Koni praised “Qatar’s interest in the Libyan file and its support for the efforts of the Presidential Council in the reconciliation project that has reached advanced stages.”
For his part, the ambassador affirmed his country’s continued support for the efforts to achieve stability in Libya, which aim to preserve the unity of Libyan territory, according to what the Presidential Council reported.
The ambassador stressed the importance of the national reconciliation project, working to make it successful in coordination with the Presidential Council and the African Union, and intensifying efforts to address the political deadlock.
During a separate meeting with Presidential Council member Abdullah Al-Lafi, the ambassador reiterated his country’s support for reconciliation efforts.
The ambassador also indicated their commitment to supporting the UN mission and relevant Security Council resolutions and all peaceful solutions that preserve Libya’s unity, stability, sovereignty and the aspirations of its people.
