Al-Lafi underlines social reconciliation as he visits the west

The new Presidential Council (PC) member, Abdullah Al-Lafi, stressed the importance of social reconciliation amongst all Libyans.

On Saturday, Al-Lafi, deputy-chief of the PC, visited some western Libyan cities, including Zwara, Zolton, Regdaleen, Al-Jmail, Al-Ajelat, and Abu kammash. During his visits, he met the mayors, officials, sheikhs, and notables in addition to House of Representatives members who represent these regions.

As he received municipalities’ demands concerning infrastructure, fuel, cash and activation of reconciliation committees, he reiterated the PC’s keenness to hold the elections in December as scheduled and to hold communications with all Libyan cities, reaching all regions and conveying the message of peace.
