The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj met Sunday with the commander of Sirte-Jufra Operations Room Ibrahim Baytelmal and discussed the latest military developments in Sirte and Jufra.
The Chief Commander of the Libyan Army Fayez Al-Sarraj was briefed about the latest developments in the military zone and reviewed coordination mechanisms among the forces to secure and protect civilians inside the two cities in central Libya.
Libyan Army launched “Doroob Al-Nasser” (Victory Paths) Operation early this month to retake Sirte and Jufra cities from Haftar’s militias and their mercenaries, especially the Russian Wagner Group ones, who took refuge in thew two cities as they fled from southern Tripoli and Tarhouna.
