An anticipated Libyan-Tunisian-Algerian summit to enhance cooperation and solidarity regarding regional issues

Tunisian President Kais Saied announced his intention to hold a series of meetings with Libya and Algeria to discuss ways to enhance regional cooperation and solidarity between the Maghreb countries.

This came during his meeting with President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Menfi and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum summit, held in the Algerian capital.

Saied stressed the importance of holding this tripartite meeting to coordinate positions and interests between the three countries.

After Ramadan, Tunisia will host the first of these tripartite summits which aim to enhance regional cooperation in various fields, including security, energy and development, which are expected to be periodic every three months.
