Attorney General’s Office identifies perpetrators of Abu Salim murder

The Libyan Attorney General’s Office said it had discovered the identities of the perpetrators who committed a murder of ten people in Abu Salim about a week ago, but the Office didn’t publish the names or affiliations of the murderers.

According to the Office, the perpetrators would be arrested by the units of the TRipoli Security Directorate after all investigations had ended.

“Autopsy reports of the bodies proved that they had died because of gunshots.” The Attorney General’s Office said.

The Libyan Interior Minister said on Wednesday that his Ministry had appointed a team to investigate the murder in Abu Salim, adding that no one was above the law and that whomever is involved, regardless of their affiliations, would be brought to justice.

Ten people, including members of the Stability Support Apparatus, were murdered this week at their house in Abu Salim in Tripoli.
