Bashagha launches national dialogue to communicate with all Libyan parties

The Prime Minister-designate who was appointed by the the House of Representatives, (HoR), Fathi Bashagha, launched what he called a national dialogue to communicate directly with all parties and reach a true national consensus that consolidates the principle of broad national participation.

In his speech on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Bashagha added that this sensitive period of Libya’s history requires concerted efforts, stressing the continuation of communication with everyone and said that building a respectable, strong and prosperous state will only be achieved through justice.

Bashagha indicated that his government wouldn’t refuse to sit with any party that believed that the “Libyan Government” came to seize power from them or fight them, explaining that his government was one of participation and had committed to the principle of avoiding bloodshed and maintaining the security and stability of the capital.
