A source from the High Council of State (HCS) has told Libya Al-Ahrar TV that a tripartite meeting of the Head of the HCS, Mohammed Takala, Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Aqila Saleh, and the Head of the Presidential Council (PC) Mohammed Menfi, will be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in mid-July.
The HCS decided at its recent session earlier this month to hold a tripartite meeting after reports saying that a meeting would be held in Morocco.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper cited previously sources as saying that the meeting would be held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo on 15 July.
The first tripartite meeting of the Libyan HCS, PC, and HoR, was held under the auspices of the Arab League in Cairo on 10 March, 2024.
