The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has announced issuing new banknotes in denominations of [5, 10, and 20] dinars.
The CBL has explained that the 10 dinars denomination will be issued next week, followed by the other denominations, adding that they all will bear the signature of the new Governor Naji Issa.
On October 17, the Central Bank of Libya announced the provision of 15 billion dinars to all banks over over a number of months and started the distribution of cash to all branches in last November.
