The Libyan Presidential Council has announced that it will extend the hours of the lockdown and curfew to become from 2.00 PM to 7.00 AM starting Monday (March 30).
The Presidential Council added in a statement on Sunday that cross-country travel will also be prohibited, except for health, security and other sovereignty-related matters as well as cargo trucks.
The Presidential Council decreased work hours to three, starting from 9.00 AM and ending at 12.00 PM, adding that the new measures are to be applied starting March 30.
This came after Libya’s Coronavirus cases had increased to three as two new cases were recorded by the National Center for Disease Control on Saturday.
