Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has called for further cooperation between Islamic countries in different economic fields, during a recent statement, according to the Government of National Unity’s (GNU) press office.
This came during the Prime Minister’s participation in the Economic and Cooperation Forum between Arab states and the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, held in the Qatari capital, Doha, on April 29-30.
According to statements conveyed by the press office, Dbeibah praised the role of these forums in bridging perspectives and identifying aspects of cooperation between Arab countries and their Central Asian counterparts.
During his speech, Dbeibah renewed his condemnation of what is happening in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to immediately end the war and bring in humanitarian aid.
This is the third session of the forum, the first of which was held 10 years ago, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to deepen relations between Arab countries, Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan and improve cooperation mechanisms among them, while the second session was held in 2017 in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.
