The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, has held a meeting with the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, on the launch of electronic work permits.
According to the government, Al-Abed presented a position to Dbeibah regarding linking the Wafid platform with the Passports and Nationality Authority, creating an account for every local company that wishes to recruit workers, and considering it the official sponsor before the Libyan state.
Al-Abed also stressed that this step will contribute to facilitating the procedure and eliminating bureaucracy, according to the government’s press release.
For his part, Dbeibah stressed the need to support the private sector in all fields, considering that this technical project supports such an approach, emphasizing the necessity of launching and developing this service.
