The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has called on the Prime Minister-designate of the house of Representatives (HoR), Fathi Bashagha, to stop sending letters and threats of war as well as targeting civilians.
The statement by Dbeibah came in response to Bashagha’s letter on Wednesday, in which he asked Dbeibah, calling him ex-PM, to leave his post peacefully and commit to democracy and peaceful circulation of power.
Dbeibah added in his response on Twitter, calling Bashagha the former Interior Minister, that Bashagha should focus his efforts on entering elections and stop the delusions of military coups.
Tripoli has been seeing security tensions lately with signs of mobilization of forces amid the conflict for power between Dbeibah and Bashagha.
