Debibah wants constitution before elections

The presidential candidate Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah has reiterated the need for constitutional referendum that is based on transparency and equality before holding elections.

Dbeibah added in a speech at an event for the Marriage Fund that there should be a date set for the approval of the constitution before holding elections that express the desire of the Libyan people.

“What’s happening today is chaos and all youths should decide on their own future, including on the constitution.” He added.

Dbeibah said there will be a third billion dinars for Marriage Fund, adding that the checks from the second billion dinars have started to be distributed.

“The Government of National Unity is going to hold a press conference in the coming couple of days to clarify its expenditure.” He reiterated.
