The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, reiterated that Egypt would continue to coordinate with all Libyan parties to reach holding elections in December, stressing the need to end foreign intervention and the presence of foreign forces and mercenaries in Libya.
El Sisi met with the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, and Khalifa Haftar in Cairo on Tuesday, in the presence of Egyptian Intelligence Chief, Abbas Kamel.
The Egyptian Presidential spokesman, Bassam Radi, said the meeting covered the latest developments in Libya according to Cairo’s support for the country’s stability in politics and security, which entails Egypt’s stability as well.
