The Libyan National Center for Disease Control registered Tuesday tye first Coronavirus case in the eastern city of Benghazi after running tests on samples sent from the eastern region .
Another new COVID-19 case was also recorded on Tuesday in Tripoli, thus bringing the total number of cases to 21 across Libya.
The center added that it had tested other 25 samples from Tripoli and they came negative.
Meanwhile, the National Center for Disease Control announced that a second COVID-19 patient had recovered after running two tests that both came negative and thus the patient left the hospital.
Libya has now 21 Coronavirus cases, two of whom recovered and one died – a woman who is above 80 years old.
