The spokesman for the Libyan Foreign Ministry, Mohammed Al-Giblawi, has said the ministry regards the handing over of the Libyan embassy by the Syrian regime to the parallel government as stealing properties of the Libyan state in violation of the Security Council resolutions.
Speaking to Libya Alahrar TV, Al-Giblawi called on Thursday on the Syrian regime to cancel the measures taken in cooperation with the parallel government and to disallow it from using the Libyan embassy headquarters in Damascus.
He also said that Libya will lodge lawsuits at international courts, brief the Security Council and Sanctions Committee about the violatios of the Syrian regime.
