The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Libya, Mustafa Sanalla, has told Libya Alahrar that there are foreign forces inside Es Sidra oil terminal, adding that they have been working on militarizing the port since their entry on Sunday.
Sanalla added in an interview with Libya Alharar TV Sunday night that Russian Wagner Group mercenaries are now inside Sharara oilfield and this has been facilitated by the Petroleum Facilities Guard.
The Libyan oil chief also indicated that the NOC had thwarted in the last days an attempt to smuggle oil and fuel from Hariga Oil Port in Tobruk, revealing that this illicit attempt was orchestrated by foreign powers.
