The French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry have welcomed the two statements of ceasefire in Libya issued by the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Aqila Saleh.
The two foreign ministers said in a telephone conversation that the ceasefire announcement was a very important step on the road to reaching political settlement, stability and security in Libya.
Le Drian also said that the ceasefire in Libya would be a good step to confront the terrorist groups and the foreign presence in the country.
