The spokesman for the Libyan Army under the command of the Government of National Accord Mohammed Gununu said Air Force warplanes had carried out three airstrikes on Al-Watiya airbase, targeting positions and military vehicles for Khalifa Haftar’s militias.
Meanwhile, Burkan Al-Ghadab Operation said heavy artillery shelling targeted Haftar’s militias in the west of Khallat bin Oun crossroad in south Tripoli, leaving behind a number of casualties.
Gununu also said that GNA’s Air Force hit Saturday a fuel truck for Haftar’s militias in the vicinity of Nassma area.
He indicated that the airstrike was the fourth in the same area in 24 hours in the aim to cut off Haftar militias’ supplies as they continue to target civilians in Tripoli.
