The Spokesman for the Libyan Army Mohammed Gununu has confirmed that the forces under GNA’s command have foiled an attempt by Khalifa Haftar’s militias to advance on Fourth Brigade’s camp in Al-Aziziya.
Gununu said Burkan Al-Ghadab operation forces destroyed several vehicles for Haftar’s militias near the Fourth Bridge’s camp and seized full control of it.
Meanwhile, the commander of the joint operations room of the western zone Osama Juwaili has denied the allegations of Khalifa Haftar’s spokesman Ahmed Al-Mismari about the execution of several fighters from Haftar’s militias by Government of National Accord’s forces after capturing them on one of the frontlines.
Juwaili told Libya Alahrar TV on Friday that the lies of Al-Mismari aim to cover up for the massive number of their killed fighters on the frontlines without telling their relatives about their fate.
