Haftar orders arrest of anyone “influencing public opinion”

Warlord Khalifa Haftar has ordered its security authorities to start a security campaign that aims to detain all the persons deemed wanted by the law and those who are influencing public opinion in illegal manners.

Haftar’s orders came in a meeting he held with the Head of the Interim Government in eastern Libya Abdullah Al-Thinni, Interior Minister Abdelrazik Al-Nathori, and senior security officials.

In the meantime, Benghazi has been seeing lately protests against stealing of lands and properties by pro-Operation Karama (Dignity) personalities loyal to Haftar.
