Khalifa Haftar’s militias have intensified shelling on civilians in Tripoli, killing nine people and injuring over 30 in Abu Salim and Tajoura municipalities, according to the media adviser of Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi.
Haftar’s indiscriminate shelling killed in Abu Salim municipality six civilians and injured 11, while in Tajoura, 3 civilians were killed and 19 injured.
All these atrocities took place on Wednesday as Haftar’s militias try to distract attention from the GNA advance on Al-Watiya airbase, the last foothold of Haftar’s militias in western Libya.
