Haftar’s Sudanese mercenaries train in the UAE before joining combat in Libya

Sudanese mercenaries, who are fighting for Khalifa Haftar’s militias in their offensive against Tripoli, have been trained for military combat in the UAE – Ghayathi area – for three months before joining Haftar’s militias, according to Anadolu Agency.

The Turkish news agency added, in a report that included surveys of thousands of photos and satellite imagery, that the Sudanese mercenaries are transferred after training to Benghazi, Sirte, Ras Lanuf and Jufra aribase before being sent in groups to different frontlines to fight against the Government of National Accord’s (GNA) forces.

The report says the data analysis showed that Haftar had used the Sudanese mercenaries, after giving them false promises, in his offensive against GNA forces.
