The commander of the Sirte Protection and Security Force (SPSF) Al-Naas Abdullah said Khalifa Haftar’s warplanes had targeted Checkpoint 17 in eastern Sirte with two airstrikes.
The commander added that the airstrikes targeted as well a farm in Abu Hadi district in southern Sirte.
“One of the SPSF personnel was injured in the airstrikes, which caused material damage to the civilian farm in Abu Hadi district as well.”
Haftar’s warplanes have been intensifying airstrikes on the SPSF inside and outside the city, besides targeting other vital facilities in Sirte since the start of the Tripoli aggression in April 2019.
