Head of Presidential Council arrives in Libya’s south

The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has arrived this afternoon in Sabha _ south Libya – in a first visit to the region since his election by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum in Geneva early this month.

The media office of Menfi said the visit to the southern region came as part of the series of visits Menfi was conducting acorss Libya, referring to visits to Benghazi, Al-Bayda and Tobruk in the east and Tripoli in the west.

Meanwhile, Menfi said earlier that he was trying to consolidate the ceasefire agreement and allow the 5+5 Joint Military Commission all the support it needed to unify the Libyan military institutions.
