HoR Speaker stresses need to hold Libyan election on time

The Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) Aqila Saleh, said he hopes the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) will continue with its efforts and preparations as per a deadline to make room for the upcoming democratic process of the general elections.

Saleh told an event at the HNEC in Tripoli on Sunday, via a recorded speech, that elections is a national duty that needs complete bias to people who will be showing up at the voting centers to cast their ballots, urging the relevant authorities to hold elections on time next December.

Likewise, presenting the latest developments of the election preparations, Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, said that every vote by the Libyan people counts, urging all Libyans to participate in the democratic process.
