IMF expects Libya to top list of Arab countries in economic growth in 2025

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Libya to top the list of Arab countries in terms of economic growth in 2025, saying that Libya will be followed by Sudan and Djibouti.

IMF’s “World Economic Outlook” report, issued on last Tuesday, added that Yemen would come at the bottom of the list, as its economic growth was expected to be relatively low compared to other countries.

IMF also expected global economic growth to stabilize at 3.2% during the current and next two years, with no significant change from its previous estimates that were issued last July.
