Injured fighters who helped uproot ISIS from Libya complain about lack of medical support

The Executive Director of the Burkan Al-Ghadab Operation, Mahmoud Al-Dalaih, called on authorities to pay attention to the conditions of the wounded fighters and to find a quick solution to their crisis.

Al-Dalaih said in a statement to Libya Al-Ahrar TV that a number of the wounded fighters who were fighting ISIS in Sirte back in 2016 are suffering from negligence in the absence of support from whom he described as the authorities responsible for them.

He added that the wounded fighters who are being treated in Germany had not received any of their allowances for eleven months, accusing the relevant authorities of hindering the payment of their allowances.

Al-Dalaih also said that the injured fighters would organize a protest in mid-May to demand an improvement to their conditions and the payment of their allowances to complete their medical treatment.
