The Interior Ministry of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has said that one of the kidnappers of Wissal Abdelhafid has been arrested and the girl, who was abducted over two weeks ago, is now safe at home.
The GNA Interior Ministry said the abducted girl is in good health conditions, adding that the reason for the kidnap was financial blackmail.
“All of the kidnappers will be brought to justice.” The Interior Ministry said in a televised statement on Wednesday.
It added that the abduction is a criminal act and that the girl was freed from a house in Wershiffana with the help of Jafara police station.
