Italy shocked by mass graves found in Libya’s Tarhouna

The Italian Foreign Ministry has expressed shock of the mass graves in Tarhouna, calling in a statement for an independent and transparent investigation as per the call of the UN Secretary General and the High Representatives of the EU as well; as the UNSMIL.

The Italian Foreign Ministry called on all parties to respect human rights and the international humanitarian law.

This comes after the spokesman for the Libyan Foreign Ministry Mohammed Al-Gablawi said the Government of National Accord had called on the UNSMIL to assist in probing Haftar’s crimes and mass graves in Tarhouna.
