LCG rescues 210 migrants off Libyan coasts

The Libyan Coast Guards (LCG) rescued 210 illegal migrants after their boat submerged off the Libyan coasts on Saturday.

The naval forces spokesperson, Colonel Masoud Abdulsamad, said in a press statement that the Ubari boat rescued the migrants and recovered one body that was handed over to competent authorities in the presence of the investigations officer of Souq Al-Jumaa.

“The migrants were moved to the illegal migration authority so that it can take the necessary measures towards them,” Abdulsamad added.
