The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU) has condemned the military attack on Iran, describing it as “barbaric”, calling on the international community to do its duty to stop such repeated attacks.
Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement its condemnation in the “strongest terms” of the “barbaric” military attacks on the Republic of Iran.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that this attack was a violation and contravention of international laws, stressing Libya’s firm position in rejecting the continued escalation in the region, “which threatens the security and stability of the countries of the region and their peoples”.
Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to do its duty to prevent the repeated attacks, and to work on reducing further regional and international tension and escalation.
