Libya offers condolences to South Korea following plane crash at Muan Airport

Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has offered condolences of the victims of South Korean plane crash at Muan International Airport, which claimed the lives of 179 people.

The Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement its solidarity with the Korean government and people in this tragedy, offering condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of this disaster.

A Boeing 737-800 belonging to the airliner “Jeju Air” crashed in an accident at Muan International Airport on Sunday.

The crash of Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 is the largest aviation accident that left a large number of deaths inside South Korea and the worst for a South Korean airline since the crash of a Korean Air plane in the city of “Guam” in 1997, which claimed the lives of at least 200 people.
