Libya, Tunisia agree on more bilateral cooperation

The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, and the Tunisian President, Kais Saied, have agreed to achieve more bilateral cooperation goals for both countries.

In a joint press conference in Tunis on Saturday, Saied said technical teams of the Libyan-Tunisian Joint Committee had been tasked with working on bilateral cooperation and joint projects between Libya and Tunisia.

Menfi and an accompanying delegation arrived in Tunis Saturday morning in a visit for two days to discuss cooperation and boosting bilateral relations.

Menfi said at the presser that Libya commends the support given by Tunisia, reiterating that both countries have always been on goods terms on regional and international issues.

Menfi indicated that they had also reviewed joint interests and cooperation in security and economic development as well as in the labor sector; hence, discussing the conditions of Libyan and Tunisian nationals in each country and ways of facilitating their travels.
