Libyan Airlines resumes Tripoli-Benghazi flights

Libyan Airlines will resume flights between Tripoli and Benghazi starting Wednesday after a one-year suspension, the Head of the airliner’s media office, Mohammed Giniwa, has confirmed.

Giniwa told Libya Alahrar TV that after the first flight between Tripoli and Benghazi on Wednesday, the airliner will schedule flights between Benina and Mitiga airports.

The airliner explained that resuming flights from Tripoli to eastern and southern airports comes as part of the efforts of Libyan Airlines to unite the board of directors in cooperation with the east-based management.
