The spokesman for Libya’s Army forces under the command of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Mohammed Gununu has confirmed that GNA forces have stormed Yarmouk and Hamza Military Camps as they advance on fleeing Khalifa Haftar’s terrorist militias in south Tripoli frontlines.
Gununu said GNA forces entered Hamza Military Camp and were chasing away fleeing Haftar’s terrorist militias as military engineers worked on removing mines planted in the area.
In the meantime, the Commander of Tripoli military zone Abdelbaset Marwan also said that GNA’s Burkan Al-Ghadab Operation forces were steadily advancing on all southern Tripoli frontlines, as Haftar’s terrorist militias retreated under heavy fire and steady advance by the GNA.
On Friday, heavy clashes were seen on Salah Al-Deen frontline as GNA forces seized control of many positions in the area, especially Al-Tikbali Camp, Old Mosque, Passports Building and Al-Zuhoor Neighborhood, knowing that those areas had been mostly destroyed.
The Libyan Army forces under GNA’s command also advanced on Ain Zara frontline, especially in Al-Gabayliya, as the commander of Ain Zara frontline Yousef Al-Ameen told Libya Alahrar.
