Libyan High Council of State re-elects Al-Mishri as its Head for fourth term

The Libyan High Council of State members re-elected Tuesday the current Head Khalid Al-Mishri for a fourth term that extends for a year.

The High Council of State members elected Al-Mishri by 73 votes out of 128 to put him ahead of his opponent candidate Salah Mito, who came second with Al-Mishri in the first round of votes leaving Saied Kala in third place.

The members also elected Masoud Abed as the first deputy head and Omar Bushah as the second deputy head.
