Libyan PM suspends embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires in Egypt

The Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, issued a decision to suspend Mohammed Abdel Ali Misbah from his position as Chargé d’Affaires at the Libyan Embassy in Cairo.

Dbeibah assigned Abdel Muttalib Al-Thabet, Libya’s representative to the Arab League, to temporarily manage the embassy’s duties.

Misbah took over the duties of the Libyan Embassy in Cairo in July 2021, from his predecessor Ramadan Sahil.
