Libyan PM visits Tawergha, vows its residents support

The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah visited Tawergha with the Ministers of Higher Education, Health, Transportation, Displaced People Affairs and President Affairs, to inaugurate the opening of classes of Misrata University inside Tawergha and urge the displaced people to return home.

Dbeibah called on the internally displaced people (IDPs) of Tawergha who are living in camps outside the town to return to their houses, vowing that the Government of National Unity will provide them with support and services.

The Prime Minister reiterated his government’s support for full stability in Tawergha and the return of all IDPs with the provision of all necessary services to the residents, adding that he promises to leave no needy and homeless Libyans all across the country.

Dbeibah said the visit to Tawergha will pave the way for the revival of the town to be ready for the return of the IDPs with all institutions returning to work to provide services to the citizens.
