Libyan PM: War and political changes impacted oil infrastructure

The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibha, said at the sixth summit for gas exporting countries forum in Doha, Qatar, that wars and conflicts as well as political crises have had a huge impact on the infrastructure in Libya.

Dbeibah said on Tuesday that Libya has a large energy stock and is working to develop new explorations in partnership with foreign companies, indicating that Libya could become a major gas exporter after the exploration of new fields.

Dbeibah added that there’s an opportunity for cooperation among the countries of the forum to face international challenges by exploring their natural resources, saying that the instability in Libya had a large impact on oil and gas production.
