Libya’s Al-Sarraj, US delegation discuss boosting security cooperation

The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj has discussed with US-based “Jones Consulting International”, which is specialized in anti-terrorism, military and security services, security cooperation with the two countries.

Al-Sarraj stressed on Monday the importance of boosting partnership with friend countries, such as the US, which has a very close relation with the Libyan Government of National Accord in fighting terrorism.

In the meantime, the Deputy Defense Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Salah Al-Namroush, discussed security cooperation with a delegation from the US-based firm.

The Libyan officials and US delegation discussed mechanisms for reform at the security and military institutions in Libya.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Defense Minister also reviewed with the US delegation in Tripoli on Sunday the needed efforts and work to develop the Libyan security and military institutions based on correct technical and scientific foundations.
