Libya’s Coronavirus cases rise to 71 after registering 2 new ones

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control has recorded two new COVID-19 cases for Libyans returning from abroad.

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control said in a statement on Thursday that it had tested 326 samples, 324 of which were negative and two were positive.

It added that it had received 134 of the total number of samples from Tripoli Reference Laboratory ,67 from Misrata and 30 from Benghazi as well as 89 from Al-Kwifiya laboratory and five from Tripoli University Hospital.

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control said Wednesday it had registered a new COVID-19 case after testing 241 new samples from Tripoli, Misrata and Benghazi.

Libya has now 35 recovered Coronavirus cases, three deaths and 33 active cases, thus totalling 71 cases since the start of the pandemic.
