Libya’s COVID-19 cases jump to 118 as new infections are registered in Sabha

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control said Friday that it had run tests on 423 samples, saying 13 ones had tested positive for Coronavirus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 infections to 118 a cross Libya.

The National Center for Disease Control called on the residents of Sabha, where the latest cases had been registered, to stay in the city until all tests on people who contacted the positive Coronavirus cases have been tested.

Libya now has 118 cases, after a hike in COVID-19 infections in the southern region, especially the city of Sabha, according to the National Center for Disease Control.
